Lipodrene SR Fat Burner Review
Benefits and Side Effects of Lipozene
Lipodrene SR is a product of Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals.
Some contains ephedra and others don’t. In its original version, ephedrine has been one of most important ingredient of this diet pill.
Then after the ban of ephedra, the manufacturer start producing a new Lipodrene, an ephedra free version.
On April 15 2005, a judge overturned the FDA's ban on formulas containing ephedra.
And the Lipodrene version that contains ephedrine reappeared. Recently, on August 17, 2006, Federal Court reinstate FDA ephedra ban.
This explains why you may find the two versions of Lipodrene in stores. Anyway, the maker of this fat burner claims it to be “a culmination of over a decade of research and development”. Well, we have all heard the big words and slogans which normally appear with every review made on the sellers and producers’ sites and TV appearances. The benefits of Lipodrene SR are said to be as follows:

* Increases Basal Metabolic Rate (calories burned) * Helps Suppress Appetite (makes it easier to stick with your diet) * Reduces Carbohydrate Cravings * Energizes without Over-Stimulation (non-jittery formula) * Safe Ephedra-Free Formula
Does Lipodrene dietary supplement work? What are the side effects?
User’s reviews though, give no conclusive feedback. Some shared their success stories in forums claiming they have found Lipodrene SR to be great and got good results, some others were actually gaining weight although being on a diet and exercise in addition to taking their pills of Lipodrene as prescribed.

Let’s review the ingredients in Lipodrene:
Citrus aurantium: This ingredient in the Lipodrene SR has recognized benefits. It accelerates the weight loss process because of the amphetamine-like effects of the alkaloids. Although, citrus aurantium extract is not as effective as ephedra, it helps to boost energy and suppress appetite.
5-Hydroxytrptophan: help controls the anxiety level.
Green Tea Extract (leaves) – A proven ingredient which is key to many other fat burning agents (i.e. Lipoxinol, Smartburn, Zantrex and many others). The green tea extract is clinically proven to have effect on the increase of metabolic rate and overall well being of us humans!!
Hoodia gordonii – this ingredient is still subjected to disputes as concerns its efficiency in weight loss. I must say I have not seen many stories of success attributed to the use of Hoodia gordonii in the fat burning pills. The Hoodia gordonii is actually a rare cactus. I am unsure where will the constant supply come from and when will we hear from the representatives of the nature protectionist societies.
Coryphantha macromeris - coryphantha macromeris is a cactus just like the Hoodia gordonii. This ingredient is a known stimulant although I have not managed to find any evidential data as to the Coryphantha macromeris being a fat burning agent. Also, I am not sure if this ingredient will stimulate us the right way as I note it has a hahhucinogenic properties (albeit mild).
Phenylethylamine – This ingredient in the Lipodrene SR Ephedra has disputable benefits as concerns weight loss. It is a lovely little ingredient which is normally contained in chocolate and is in charge of giving us this pleasant feeling of well being when we enjoy a chocolate bar. Phenylethylamine normally occurs in the brain and is similar to amphetamine. I have not seen though any real evidence that the Phenylethylamine has any fat burning properties.
Commiphora mukul (also known as guggul): is an inflammatory agent that may easily replace Ibuprofen. It helps with high cholesterol and reduces the risks of cardiovascular diseases and atherosclerosis.
Caffeine: that will increase the metabolic rate and help burn more fat.
Bottom line on Lipodrene review:
The Lipodrene formula is relatively cheap (between 18 and 30 USD) compared to many other fat burners and you can find good deals when you buy it.
It contains very good ingredients that may really be helpful if you plan to lose weight. My main concern is with the Lipodrene blend (about 600 mg total). Will it really deliver as promised? Tell us more, please, if you buy Lipodrene SR
